I don't know who disagreed with this. If this game were 360 exclusive it would sell some console in Japan. It still wouldn't do as much as it'll do on PS3.
It no secret that Foxgod prefers 360 over PS3. I prefer PS3 over 360. You check the posting histories. I have to think that people are disagreeing with him more than they are disagreeing with what he said here.
As far as I can tell this is not a series of games yet, but just one game. We know the names of the mechs and their pilots from anime, fairly popular anime at that. In fact, they all had sequels; or at least all the ones I recognized.
I will probably buy it myself. I am an American who watches anime. A Japanese person of my same demographic is going to have a full-fledged orgasm when he sees this.

HipHopGamer is doing EVERYTHING RIGHT. I mean that.
People hate him because he doesn't run from hip hop culture but rather embraces it, and he is good at what he does anyway.

Now we have someone from Bungie saying that they won't do another Halo game for TEN YEARS. For a Microsoft platform that's 2 generations. They're going to skip the Xbox 3(720) completely. According to Bungie themselves, they won't do another Halo game until late in the lifespan of the 4th Xbox.

A DS appeals to children and women. I have two cousins who have DS one a young girl about 9 y/o the other a grown woman about 25 y/o. They both say that a PSP has nothing but "boy games".
They are probably right I don't have a PSP but I am going to get for......Metal Gear Solid: Peacewalker. I should also point out that after Peacewalker I probably won't get another PSP game, well maybe Valkyria Chronicles...
Trying to say that the best looking 360 games are visually on par with the best looking PS3 games is wishful thinking at best, an outright lie at worst. Either way its disingenuous.
PS3 exclusive games have looked better than 360 exclusive games ever since Heavenly Sword released in Sept 2007. Uncharted 1 released two months after that (Nov. 2007) and took the best-looking-game-on-consoles- crown from it. No game on 360, exclusive or multi-plat has looked as good as the origi...
UC2, KZ2, GT5???????? You're aiming too high. The 360 has yet to produce a game that matches Heavenly Sword (1,000 enemies on screen at 720p 4xAA)or Uncharted 1.
But, to be fair, they haven't matched Gears 2 since 2008. It doesn't look like they are still trying. Halo Reach will be a graphical improvement; the question is will it match Gears 2 in graphics.

Comparing FF13 sales numbers on the PS3 to the FF13 sales numbers on the 360 are not a fair comparison.
All of the U.S. advertising for FF13 has been for the Xbox 360 version. That was probably the case in Europe as well. I suspect that there are young people who don't know that it is available on PS3. What would the sales numbers look like if FF13 had U.S. commercials for the PS3 and for the 360 version?

The only real problem with Heavenly Sword was that the movelist and combat system wasn't deep enough or very well balanced. Devil May Cry is all about tight combat, I'm not sure Ninja Theory can do justice to the combat engine.
Does anyone else think that we are going to see Heavenly Sword 2 at E3? Over the last 2 months Ninja Theory articles have been all over the place. Its as though they are trying to get as much publicity as they can from Heavenly Sword while they are still relevant. I suspect(and hope) that is because they know that Heavenly Sword 2 is coming and that they will be irrelevant when it does.

Xbox 360 hardware quality is in no way equivalent to PS3 hardware quality. An Xbox 360 is just less reliable (meaning "more likely to breakdown")than a PS3, pure and simple. That is an objective fact. That doesn't mean that a 360 is better or worse than a PS3 because reliability is not the only factor to consider. However, it is misleading to imply that a PS3 and an Xbox 360 have about the same degree of reliability.
